Responsibilities

-Report to Supply Chain Manager
-Managing one staff
-Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop an accurate supply plan, negotiate with suppliers, and monitor for potential supply risks.
-Manage contracted manufacturers (tollers), including defining and negotiating production plans, monitoring costs and deliveries, and resolving quality issues.
-Lead the implementation of new product launches and manage KPI targets such as inventory, forecast accuracy, write-off costs, and on-time deliveries.
-Supervise a team member, drive process improvements, and lead projects related to planning and tolling, such as source changes and planning system enhancements.

Qualifications

-3 years of supply chain planning experience in the food, chemical, and pharmaceutical manufacturing sectors is required. (preferred)
-Preferably, candidates should have three years of experience in manufacturing operations and team management.
-Strong communication skills are a must for engaging with colleagues and stakeholders and representing the supply chain in S&OP meetings.
-It is essential to be able to lead discussions with stakeholders to address issues such as delivery delays, product non-conformance, and material shortages.
-Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), as well as fluency in both written and verbal Japanese and English, are necessary.
