Responsibilities

– Understand the company’s supply chain process and objectives, and develop strategies to improve efficiencies
– Ensure the flow of goods in an efficient, cost-effective and timely manner between the global factories, our warehouse and clients.
– Analyze data to identify trends and recommend solutions for streamlining the supply chain
– Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions
– Work closely with cross functional teams (Finance, Marketing, Technical Support and Sales Teams) to ensure required capacity, production, and inventory plans are achieved
– Monitor supplier performance to ensure that they meet quality standards and delivery timelines
– Coordinate with internal departments to forecast future needs and develop plans to accommodate growth
– Prepare reports on supply chain metrics for upper management
– Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement process improvements
– Assist with the development and implementation of new ERP/MRP systems as needed
– Train and motivate a team of supply chain staff

Qualifications

– University graduate
– 5+ years’ experience in supply chain management, such as inventory control, sales order management and demand forecasting
– Working experience with ERP programs (SAP, ORACLE, etc.)
– Ability to lead, train and mentor employees on a personal level
– Previous experience as a supply chain manager is plus
