Responsibilities

-Reporting to Overseas HQ
-Managing two staff
– Oversee staff and 3PL operations in Japan for purchasing, storing, and shipping materials, ensuring compliance
– Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve high-quality, budget-conscious fulfillment
– Build and maintain effective systems and structures to meet operational demands
– Manage 3PL partnerships to ensure flexibility in warehousing and distribution
– Generate regular reports on operational and financial metrics for management
– Ensure goods are stored and shipped on time, maintaining inventory integrity
– Work with sales and customer service to meet purchasing and delivery needs
– Select, onboard, and coach staff, ensuring performance meets company standards
– Maintain a safe workplace, ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines
– Oversee purchasing, budget preparation, and adherence to corporate policies

Qualifications

– Strong understanding of warehousing, transportation, and logistics challenges
– Proven leadership abilities, skilled in guiding teams and managing change effectively within complex environments
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
– Experience working in a global organization
– Fluent in business-level English and native-level Japanese
– Bachelor’s degree (ideally in Business, Logistics, or Engineering) with experience in logistics, transport healthcare sectors (Life Science and Diagnostics)
