Responsibilities

-Procure goods and services that align with specified quality and quantity requirements outlined in agreements.
-Tracked and managed open purchase orders with vendors
-Negotiate supplier agreements, including pricing, quality expectations, delivery schedules, and other contractual terms.
-Identify and assess existing and prospective suppliers based on their capabilities, expertise, and reliability.
-Foster collaborative partnerships with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements and long-term cooperation.
-Organize and lead regular supplier meetings to discuss performance, expectations, and ongoing requirements.
-Perform systematic supplier evaluations and maintain an updated list of approved vendors in compliance with local and global standards.
-Track procurement KPIs, such as spending, vendor performance metrics (cost, delivery timelines, and quality adherence), and areas for improvement.
-Coordinate with internal stakeholders for procurement planning and resolution of sourcing challenges.

Qualifications

-Fluent in Japanese and business-level English; strong written and verbal skills.
-Extensive experience in procurement and supplier management.
-Proficient in SAP, Excel, and other data management tools.
-Proven negotiation and analytical skills for effective decision-making.
-Strong project and time management abilities for timely delivery.
-Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
-Structured and strategic problem-solving approach.
