Responsibilities

– Reports to SCM Manager
– 6 staff in team
– Create purchasing plans based on sales forecasts or actual demand from customers.
– Place purchase orders for mass production parts with domestic or overseas suppliers, including customer orders.
– Manage delivery schedules from pickup to completion.
– Obtain availability readiness information from the source and negotiate as needed.
– Collaborate with forwarders and manage inbound logistics processes.
– Oversee 3PL warehouses, including deliveries, dispatches, and inventory operations.
– Participate in customer meetings/communications to understand demand and timing requests, supporting procurement efforts.
– Be responsible for sharing and informing the import schedule as needed.
– Lead deliveries to customers based on specific requirements.
– Handle inventory inquiries, order entry (sales orders, purchase orders), goods receipt processing.
– Create delivery orders, manage shipment processing, and generate invoices.

Qualifications

– Over 3 years of experience in international trading and logistics business, primarily in importation, with the ability to coordinate with domestic forwarders.
– Expertise in customer service and 3PL warehouse management.
– Experience in SCM business as a consignee.
– Native-level proficiency in Japanese.
– Business-level English proficiency, with the ability to express intentions and understand written and verbal input.
– Ability to perform effectively in a diverse team with various cultural backgrounds and nationalities.
– Open-minded and adaptable to rapid changes, with the ability to take action and transform situations to achieve results.
– Self-motivated with a drive to achieve great results, work quickly, maintain a can-do attitude, show initiative, and seek new challenges.
– Ability to influence the team by driving hard work, building networks with different people, and effectively communicating ideas.
