Responsibilities

– Oversee the development of import plans based on product demand forecasts
– Ensure a stable product supply by maintaining optimal inventory levels
– Coordinate export and import processes, including communication with logistics partners, customs brokers, quarantine agencies, and external consultants
– Monitor and confirm shipment statuses
– Respond promptly and accurately to any issues related to manufacturing, imports, shipments, deliveries, or stockouts
– Liaise with the US headquarters
– Manage and oversee the content and compliance of product labels
– Handle tasks related to cosmetic manufacturing and sales licenses, including pre-shipment evaluations, preparation of necessary applications and filings, and interactions with regulatory authorities
– Coordinate with external vendors, including printing companies, outsourced manufacturing partners, and third-party logistics providers
– Facilitate internal coordination within the Japan office
– Manage and control department expenses and budgets
– Oversee the management and performance of departmental staff

Qualifications

– 5+ years of end-to-end supply chain operations skills
– Fluent Japanese
– Business English
– Proficient in Excel/MS Word
– Proactive and strong communication skills
