Responsibilities

– Report to Demand Planning Manager
– Monitor stock levels to ensure that products are available without overstocking.
– Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure timely restocking and proper inventory rotation.
– Analyze sales trends, seasonal patterns, and market data to predict future product demand.
– Adjust forecasts to accommodate promotional events or new product launches.
– Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials and finished products.
– Manage lead times and negotiate with suppliers to optimize supply chain efficiency.
– Create and manage orders based on demand forecasts, ensuring that quantities match expected sales.
– Ensure orders are processed and shipped on time to meet customer demand.
– Collaborate with production teams to schedule manufacturing and packaging based on sales forecasts.
– Ensure products are produced and ready for distribution on time.
– Continuously look for ways to improve the supply chain process for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
– Identify and resolve any supply chain issues, such as delays or stockouts.
– Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align production and inventory with promotional activities or product launches.
– Ensure the availability of products during high-demand periods, like holidays or special releases.
– Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, order statuses, and supply chain performance.
Analyze data to identify trends or areas for improvement in supply planning.

Qualifications

– 2-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or logistics
– Experience in forecasting and demand planning: Proven ability to predict demand and plan
accordingly to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
– Business Level English
– Fluent Japanese
– Ability to collaborate effectively across various departments (marketing, sales, production, and
logistics).
– Comfort in adjusting to changes in demand or unexpected supply chain disruptions, especially in the fast-paced luxury market.
