Responsibilities

– Report to Demand Planning Manager
– Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams to gather insights on sales, product launches, and customer needs.
– Contribute to balancing demand and supply within the S&OP process to optimize inventory levels.
– Share forecast updates, risks, and opportunities with cross-functional teams to support decision-making.
– Evaluate forecast accuracy and variability to identify trends and address root causes.
– Assist sales teams in tracking long-term plans and new business opportunities, including developing business cases.
– Improve forecasting methods and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.
– Lead ongoing improvements in demand planning and S&OP processes to streamline operations and improve data quality.

Qualifications

– Strong communication skills
– Business Level English
– Intermediate Japanese / Basic communication level
– 3+ years of demand planning in the manufacturing or automotive industry
– Experience using SAP
– KAIZEN mindset
