Responsibilities
Demand Management
-Lead the Demand Management Review (DMR) process as part of S&OP+, including creating presentation decks for each period and facilitating meetings.
-Enhance ways of working by collaborating with various pillar teams, the end-to-end supply planning team to boost efficiency.
Operations
-Update the two-year demand plan by working with each team to incorporate trends, new product launches, and campaigns.
-Partner with the E2E Supply Chain team to ensure the Demand Plan is effectively integrated into their daily operations and evaluate the impact of any changes on supply chain capabilities.
-Represent Japan at the Regional Demand Planning Community to share successes and best practices.
-Simulate the demand forecast for the upcoming year in alignment with pillar and E2E strategies, collaborating with the Supply Planning team to develop the supply plan.
-Establish appropriate targets for Demand Planning KPIs to facilitate continuous improvement, ensuring timely plan sharing with accurate and reasonable targets.
People Management
-Engage with demand planners to develop their skills and capabilities, including mentoring one associate.
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
-At least 3 years of experience in Demand/Supply planning and S&OP, preferably 5+ years, within the FMCG or Food industry.
-A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in people/team management.
-Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with regional and global demand/supply chain teams.
-Experience working on assignments that require multi-functional collaboration within local teams.
-Proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders to ensure a cohesive execution plan.
-Proficiency in Power BI and experience leading system improvement projects, with a solid understanding of systems in general.
