Responsibilities

– Reporting to the Demand Planning Manager
– Oversee inventory management and demand planning to balance supply and demand, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing backorders and excess inventory.
– Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop accurate trend forecasts and inventory plans, aligning with the Global Supply Chain team.
– Lead the introduction of new products and phase-out of existing products by working with stakeholders to define scope and timelines.
– Develop long-term inventory plans and assumptions, gaining alignment from the commercial team and finance.
– Drive Sales and Operations Planning (SI&OP) processes, working with the commercial team to maximize opportunities and resolve any issues.
– Contribute to achieving KPI targets for operating income and working capital reduction, with accountability for various teams, and participate in global, APAC, and country projects to enhance supply chain operations and reduce delivery costs.

Qualifications

– 3+ years of relevant experience in demand, production, manufacturing, and business planning
– Experience with ERP systems, especially SAP
– Bachelor’s degree or higher
– Supply chain planning experience
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation and analytical abilities
– Proficiency in both English and Japanese
