Responsibilities

Report: Country HR Director (will also closely work with the Plant Manager and leadership members in Shizuoka)
Team: Member of a team of 10+ HR members across Japan
Position will be based at the Shizuoka plant location as a Senior HR Business Partner and will be a member of the local leadership team for this location.

– Provide effective HR support to meet business objectives and ensure key HR metrics exceed expectations.
– Assist in identifying and managing talent through assessment tools and talent pipeline strategies.
– Facilitate compensation knowledge sharing and support hiring and retention decisions.
– Conduct regular employee communication meetings and promote engagement initiatives.
– Model company culture and apply management philosophy to HR practices, supporting business leaders.
– Oversee and implement social responsibility initiatives and ensure compliance with labor policies.
– Lead organizational change with integrity, challenging leaders to think differently and improve results.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree or higher
– Business level English
– 5+ years HR experience
– Strong communication skills
– Good PC skills
– Strong labor law knowledge
