Responsibilities

This role will function as a leader for the entire HR and GA function in Japan as both a strategic business partner and operations manager, together with team members.

– Oversee and manage the entire HR function and provide support to management on all HR areas
– Lead change management initiatives and help to strengthen the HR and GA organization
– Lead organizational development plans and succession planning
– Implement and improve training and development programs. Provide coaching and training sessions.
– Lead programs focused on talent management and employee engagement
– Introduce global projects into Japan and align with global HR initiatives
– Lead company culture building programs and initiatives
– Manage compliance with local labor regulations
– Lead employer branding and culture building initiatives
– Manage and oversee recruitment strategy (together with hands-on staff)
– Compensation and benefits policy management and operations management
– Oversee HR Operations and GA matters (with subordinates covering these areas) and improve operational excellence
– Manage team members
– Oversee administration, health and safety, and facility management
– Other HR duties as required

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree or higher
– Business level English
– 10+ years of relevant HR experience, including in senior level positions (HR Manager, Director, BP, etc.)
– Strong communication skills
– Good business acumen
– Good stakeholder management skills
– Experience in multinational companies
