Responsibilities

Position: HR Leader (Assistant Manager level)
Report: HR Manager (Head of HR)
Team: Roughly 9 members in HR/GA team

This role will focus on driving performance through the building of goal setting frameworks and competitive rewards structures in Japan. Responsibilities include overseeing payroll projects, developing HR procedures, managing compliance audits, optimizing HRIS systems, and executing initiatives to enhance employee engagement and talent management.

– Performance Management: Implement the Division Goal Setting – —Framework and Total Target Compensation Structure to drive high performance and attract key talents.
– Career Architecture: Support dual career paths and align career levels using Mercer’s data.
– Payroll Management: Ensure business continuity and compliance by implementing Payroll Project Plans.
– HR Operations: Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
– Compliance: Conduct audits and update work rules and policies.
– HRIS: Utilize the Oracle HR system as the main source of global human capital data.
People Priorities: Drive ESG initiatives, facilitate employee engagement discussions, and communicate action plan progress.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree or higher
– Business level English, fluent Japanese
– 5+ years relevant HR experience
– Strong communication skills
– Good PC skills
– Strong labor law knowledge
