Responsibilities

– Develop the annual budget, update monthly forecasts, monitor weekly trends, and analyze month-end results for the Japan commercial team.
– Evaluate commercial contracts.
– Create a sales price increase strategy using data-driven insights.
– Assist the business in advancing strategic initiatives.
– Craft business cases for long-term investments, sharing insights from analysis to identify growth opportunities.
– Collaborate closely with the Accounting team to support statutory and internal audits, SOX testing, balance sheet reviews, and other ad-hoc tasks.
– Conduct business or financial analyses on an ad-hoc basis.
– Assist with the month-end closing process and prepare appropriate journal entries as required.

Qualifications

– Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese
– 8+ years of experience in financial analysis and planning position
– PC proficiency
– Open to make a change for better workflow
