Responsibilities

– Oversee all controlling tasks of the Company (specifically commercial, corporate, inventory, HR and internal controls)
– Act as the link between senior management and other functions but also keep a close connection with the Financial Reporting team to ensure appropriate cooperation
– Act as a business partner to other functions to contribute in analyzing business KPIs and in enhancing the business decision making through a well-managed business planning cycle
– Prepare financial simulations and business cases for projects
– Monitor overall investments
– Monitor sales and create comprehensive forecasts
– Manage business stakeholders cross functionally
– Oversee financial profitability by single unit, aiming at identifying areas of improvement and potential actions in order to increase the profitability
– Take the lead in institutional financial processes, such as budget, rolling forecast, monthly closings
– Control the compliance to internal policies and perform ad hoc checks on actual spending, in order to propose / put in place actions aiming at improving the usage of Company’s resources

Qualifications

– 5+ years’ experience in Finance controlling or FP&A with control focus
– Experience of multi-national B to C company
– Fluency in English and Japanese
– Able to work independently as well in a team environment
– Well-balanced view in the both big pictures and details
– High standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
– Excellent verbal/written communication skills
