Responsibilities

Report lines: Direct report to CFO in Japan (strong background from famous international companies) with frequent communication to APAC region. This position is an individual contributor role (may manage staff in the future as business is growing)

– Collaborate with the CFO to manage the cost budget, ensuring proper accruals and conducting period-end reviews before corporate submission.
– Conduct in-depth analysis of P&L, overheads, and other operating costs, and provide forecasting for the annual plans.
– Provide financial analysis, insights, decision-making support, and recommendations to management teams as needed.
– Support financial shaping and forecasting processes, and participate in long-term planning.
– Consolidate financial information, including P&L using Excel and company reporting systems.
– Manage value-added projects, proactively analyze business issues and opportunities, and identify mitigation plans.
– Engage with the Finance team to foster growth and contribute to the achievement of team objectives.

Qualifications

– University Degree in business, finance, accounting or other related field.
– Minimum 10 years’ relevant finance experience
– Business process understanding, particular at least 5 years experience in FP&A required.
– Excellent in Excel expereince with use of Tableau, Power BI etc highly preferred (but not mandatory)
– Strong communicator with both non-finance executives and third party stakeholders.
