Responsibilities

– Lead the Japan accounting team and manage end-to-end accounting functions, including Treasury, AP, AR, payroll accounting and tax.
– Perform bookkeeping tasks to maintain precise financial records
– Payroll Ownership and collaborate with HR to manage payroll accounting
– Coordinate with external auditors and other 3rd party members
– Annual tax return preparation in collaboration with tax partners
– Handle CAPEX spending and IFRS16 compliance.
– Maintain bookkeeping practices aligned with internal and external policies
– Drive operational efficiencies across all team processes and reallocate work when needed.
– Improve internal processes to minimize reliance on outsourced finance functions.
– Act as a key finance business partner for local leadership and the GM team.

Qualifications

– Qualified CA / CPA, Masters in Finance, Bookkeeping Level 2 or above or equivalent experience
– English TOEIC score of 700 or above
– 5 years of work experience or above
– Dive deep into details and maintain high accuracy standards.
– Familiarity with Finance ERPs (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP).
