Responsibilities

– Take over closing process: variance analysis, account reconciliation, reporting
– Work closely with tax office for tax filing
– Look after and manage, with support of staff two staff, AP and AR function including inter company transaction with other countries. Support cash flow analysis and forecast
– Coordinate with sales team for customer credit limit consultation
– Budgeting support mainly for SG&A budget
– Ad hoc projects as required

Qualifications

– Strong accounting experience at international companies (10 years preferred)
– Strong understanding of USGAAP / IFRS and JGAAP
– Team management experience (at least one or two staff)
– Fluent in Japanese and English
– Experience with tax filing and / or coordinating with tax representative
– Experience with major accounting system including (Oracle or SAP etc.)
– USCPA, Boki 1st grade or other advanced credential preferred, but not mandatory
