Responsibilities

– To be responsible for GL, AP, AR, cash management, inventory, fixed assets, deferred tax including coordinating with concerned department for month end / year end closing
– Reviewed trial balance and reconciled account balance including intercompany balance confirmation
– Prepare cash flow analysis, financial performance report, and cash forecast report
– Monitor banking activities of the organization and ensuring adequate cash flow to meet the organization’s needs.
– Assist in the collection and preparation of financial and accounting information/reporting and the preparation of budgets, reports, forecasts and consolidated profit and loss reports
– Support the Finance Manager in maintaining costing and expense control, audits, and administration of contracts, insurance arrangements and property administration
– Coordinate with Tax Officer for Tax Audit
– Prepare statutory financial statements for tax filing in Japan and prepare tax documents
– Assist in month end closing and other projects assignments as needed
– Work upon supervisor’s assignment

Qualifications

– 5+ years’ experience in Accounting/Finance area, at multinational manufacturing company
– Solid knowledge and skills in Japan Financial Reporting Standards and IFRS
– Must have excellent communication skills in English
– Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skill
