■会計業務全般の業務内容
アカウンティングチーム全体を担当し、日本の経理部長にレポートするポジションになります。チーム全体のオーナーシップを持ち、主体的に業務を推進できる絶好の機会です！

Responsibilities

Reports to: Japan head of finance
Team structure / staff management: will manage two staff (been with company for 4 and 6 years, should be stable supporters in your team) using Oracle ERP

– Oversee month-end and year-end closing
– Manage financial accounts:
– Cash receipts, A/P & A/R, inventory, fixed assets, and general ledger
– Reconcile all balance sheet accounts monthly
– Handle employee expense reimbursement
– Manage cash flow forecasting
– Create monthly trial balance & data analysis from ERP
– Improve systems and procedures, taking corrective actions as needed
– Assign projects and guide staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
– Meet financial reporting deadlines
– Coordinate annual tax filings with PwC Tax Japan
– Oversee financial audits (currently, no external audit required)
– Establish and enforce accounting policies as needed

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance or equivariant required
– At least 10+ years of experience in the field of accounting
– At least 3+ years of experience in people management
– Japanese: Native
– English: Business/Fluent
– Experience as Accounting Manager, Supervisor, or Finance Manager
– Proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, and ERP systems (Payroll preferred)
– Strong written & verbal communication skills
– Excellent organization, flexibility, and prioritization abilities
– Accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to handle large data sets
– Knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, laws, and regulations
– Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
– Strong leadership skills to direct and supervise teams effectively
