Responsibilities

Accounting Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of accounting duties, including

– Input expense transactions into the ERP system (SAP) while maintaining valid supporting documents.
– Create and issue customer invoices, ensuring timely reconciliation of payments.
– Manage monthly and annual financial closings
– Prepare, file, and process required tax reports and payments
– Reconcile balance sheet accounts accurately.
– Ensure punctual processing of bank payments.
– Submit necessary financial documents and reports
– Handle additional financial and administrative responsibilities as required
– Supervise a team of 1–2 accountants.

Finance Responsibilities:

– Manage all financial activities, such as
– Prepare monthly financial reporting packages
– Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes.
– Track and monitor organizational spending.

Qualifications

– A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
– 5–10 years of experience in an Accounting Manager role.
– Comprehensive understanding of accounting regulations and procedures.
– Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
– Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, including functions like VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and pivot tables.
– Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
– Proficiency in both Japanese and English, with excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication abilities.
– An additional qualification, such as USCPA, would be advantageous
