Responsibilities

– Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with J-GAAP and US-GAAP
– Monthly and annual close process including preparation of journal entries, monthly accruals and balance sheet accounts reconciliations including certain tax accounting
– Perform quarterly/yearly balance sheet and P&L Fluctuation Analysis
– Support certain accounts payable operation
– Provide support and assistance with external audits, tax returns and tax audits
– Support other accounting/tax projects, ERP implementation, adoption of new accounting standards/policies and legacy process optimization.

Qualifications

– 5+ years of GL Accounting experience
– Strong analytical and problem solving skills, accounting principles knowledge, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experiences in using ERP systems
– Native Japanese and Business English
