Responsibilities

The Assistant Controller takes charge of diverse accounting tasks, such as managing receivables, overseeing cost accounting, maintaining inventory accuracy, handling the general ledger, and reconciling accounts. Their main focus is ensuring financial reports are precise and follow best practices. They collaborate with team members and group resources to facilitate month-end closing processes and keep daily accounting operations running smoothly.

– Manage day-to-day general accounting activities, including billing, costing, SG&A expenses, FA and tax-related transactions
– Review periodic Balance Sheet, perform analytical procedures
– Monitor inventory transactions, verify accurate standard costs, oversee the efficiency of goods movement and storage, and reconcile inventory subledger with the general ledger
– Support weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc management reporting, ensuring all deadlines are met
– Assist with fiscal reporting and compliance, including statutory accounts and tax
– Provide financial planning & analysis and support for budgeting & forecasting process in accordance with group timetables
– Deliver complete concise, and accurate information to facilitate effective decision making in responsible areas
– Assist with financial management and analysis as needed

Qualifications

– Strong systems knowledge, and advanced proficiency in MS Excel
– Solid understanding of statutory accounting principles
– Over 3 years of experience in global companies utilizing ERP systems
– General knowledge of US GAAP reporting standards is an advantage
– High reliability in data management
– Business level of English
